About us

Sound, AI and software architecture to build a new operational data infrastructure.

Sonogram Technologies grew out of a simple question: why is the sound information of an operating environment - continuous, rich and often an early sign of change - almost always allowed to slip away?

We bring together sound engineering, artificial intelligence and software architecture to build systems that listen to, preserve and interpret the environment over time.

Our story

From research to the field, one step at a time.

The idea comes from professional sound: anyone who records and archives soundscapes knows how much information an environment holds. Bringing that sensibility into operational environments called for two more disciplines, artificial intelligence and distributed systems architecture.

As an innovative start-up, Sonogram has grown in stages: prototypes first, then continuous validation in a real environment, the patent application and the first Early Adopter programmes, with scientific support from the University of Salerno and the backing of Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico.

  1. 2023–2024

    Foundations

First BB V1 and BB-MIC V1 prototypes. Start of the scientific collaboration with DiSA / MIS at the University of Salerno and of the operating partnership with mOOviOOle S.r.l.

  2. 2024–2025

    Technical validation

Development of the BB-R V2 prototype and the new BB-MIC units. First AI models for sound source separation. TRL 6/7 maturity level reached.

  3. 9 months, 24/7

    Validation in a real environment

The BB-S V2 prototype runs without interruption for 9 months in a real operational environment: more than 26,000 hours of acoustic data recorded and over 70 million audio files in the proprietary dataset.

  4. 18 September 2025

    Patent application

Italian patent application no. 102025000024124 for the BB-S system filed, currently pending. BB-AI prototype built and tested in real-time operation.

  5. 2025–2026

    Early Adopter programme

Site surveys and dedicated installation proposals. First industrial Early Adopter programmes formalised.

  6. 2026

    Pilot projects

Start of the first pilot projects in industrial environments. Quantitative anomaly detection metrics are being validated in the field with the Early Adopters.

  7. Today

    Listening-as-a-Service

BB-S is offered on an operational rental basis, expanding progressively from a first pilot plant to the entire operational perimeter.
